these guys again

Those wolf things! Haven't drawn them in a while. I'm planning on making them all updated references so I did some sketches in preparation. Most of them will only have minor design changes; what I'm really trying to figure out here is build types. I'm never happy with how Rook usually looks; he's not supposed to be super skinny like how I've usually ended up drawing him, but he's not supposed to exactly be in the best shape anymore either. I think this is more fitting. Bonus fact, his watch matches his teeth. I thought I was going to have to come up with a whole other color for the gold but that worked surprisingly well. Tundra is supposed to be angular and athletic. I'm not completely happy with how she turned out here, but I also don't hate it. She's a difficult one to get right. I don't know why but I've been wanting to draw her jumping over a fence for a while now? It just seems like something she would do. And I haven't decided 100% on the design for Storm's axe. Here I just went with the way I always used to draw it, circa 2009 maybe. I need to do more research on axes. And weapon-smithing in general. She and Tundra are both apprentices at their family business, which is largely the making of weaponry = D So either Storm actually made that or her father did. Shadowfire is a friend of the family who Storm and Tundra see kind of as an uncle who shows up from time to time between travels. Their village is possibly the closest thing he has to any kind of home base. The proportions on his sketch are off (and I see that I forgot to give him pupils somehow), but then I was also watching a movie about giant spiders terrorizing a city when I drew these. I will just blame the spiders.
I might update this if I decide to sketch more characters :>
