Portrait of a Mouse

I think I took this in 2006 or 2007... with a sony cybershot DSC-H2... and I have not managed to shoot anything like it since .-. Definitely one of my favorite photos I've ever taken.
To be fair the DSC-H2 (whatever its... other faults _{shutter buttons should not just pop off from internal strain}) did have really good macro capabilities. And since I upgraded to a D-SLR (in 2008 I think?) I haven't really had a macro lens so I didn't have the opportunity to try anything like this again. SOMEDAY
About the mouse: she was one of my first two, and her name was Rat. I got a couple of feeder mice for an 8th-grade science project (i.e. school-approved excuse to get pet mice and construct a really cool maze). She was an awesome pet; I have some more outdoor shots with her somewhere. Her sister was generally not as chill and was a little more bite-y, but really they were both great. Seems like I always got the most pronounced (and varied) personalities when I got feeder mice.
